Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is an autoimmune condition causing disruption in the communication between the nerves and muscles at the neuromuscular junction. This treatable condition causes fluctuating/fatigable weakness and can affect various muscles including muscles that control the eye movements, eyelids, chewing, swallowing, breathing, and movements of the arms and legs.
